The Terms of the Intralot and New Zealand Deal
According to the terms of the deal, Intralot is going to continue offering EMS (Electronic Monitoring Services) for accounting, auditing, reporting, and secure management of New Zealand’s Class-4 gaming venues. EMS gives users the ability to monitor and track gaming machines’ operations in clubs and pubs. Intralot ensures the accuracy of financial reporting and the integrity of the casino games.
According to Chris Dimitriadis, the Intralot Group CEO said that this deal’s extension is proof of successful cooperation. It also is an endorsement of the high quality of EMS’s high-quality performance. He added that the world-class monitoring service’s design is as per the standards of the GA (Gaming Association). The Gaming Association is considered to be the most demanding regulatory entity in the industry. He added that they are continuously omitted to support the DIA and help them establish a fair, responsible, and monitored gaming environment for the local community.
A Busy Year for Intralot around the World
The extension of the deal came following another agreement by Intralot back in July. The company signed another extension to its existing partnership with Nederlandse Loterij, the lottery of the Netherlands. Following the new deal, Intralot is going to provide the state lottery operator of the Netherlands with a sports wagering platform.
It reported a 55.5% decline in revenue year-on-year last month, which covered the first half of this year; it justified these losses due to the struggles in the B2C and B2B operations in Bulgaria and Turkey. The revenue for the six months leading to the 30th of June dropped to €168.2m. As for the revenue from the B2C division, it fell to €57.7m.
